What’s New in ACDSee 6.0 PowerPack

What’s New in ACDSee 6.0 PowerPack

New in ACDSee 6.0

• Burn photos to CD and DVD for archiving or sharing. Choose to add the ACDSee image database information to your disc.
• Create screensavers and slideshows to share.
• Get photos from your camera in three easy steps with ACDSee’s Acquire Wizard that automatically finds pictures for importing from cameras, scanners, CDs and other devices.
• Use a Magnifying Glass view to examine the detail in a photo as you move the mouse pointer over it. Great for checking for photo imperfections or seeing detail in very large photos.
• Use the Pan Lock feature to flip between photos automatically zoomed to the same picture area. Ideal for comparing detail in a series of photos (such as those with bracketed exposures).
• Sort media files by any property, including file properties such as name, date and size; EXIF metadata properties; or database information such as keywords and ratings.
• Assign key words to files using a master keyword list to ensure speed and consistency in your media library.

New in ACD FotoCanvas 3.0

• Dodge and Burn. Lighten dark areas of photos, such as people’s faces in front of bright objects, with the Dodge tool. Darken overexposed areas of photos, such as the scene outside windows in indoor shots, using the Burn tool.
• Bubble Talk and Thought Text. Create fun photo prints or cards by adding bubble talk and bubble thoughts in a few simple steps.
• Photo Correction Wizard. Breeze through common photo fixes on one or more photos at once using the helpful Photo Correction Wizard.
• Image Thumbnail Browser. Open, edit, view and print several images at once. View them all in a handy, dockable image browser. Show and hide the image browser at will.
• Survey Window. Keep track of where you are in a large, zoomed-in image using the survey window. A marker in a “survey overview” of the whole image indicates where you are.
• Batch Image Enhancement. Apply the same edits to several pictures at once by tagging them in the image browser. Work confidently by previewing changes and saving each picture separately. Great for a group of overexposed or sideways pictures, those you want to resize to uniform dimensions, or shots you want to save in sepia.
• Professional Color Management. Ensure accurate color with ICM 2.0 and ICC color profiles.
