Before downloading the Scribd app

Confirm your Kindle Fire allows the installation of applications from unknown sources:

1. Open the quick settings menu by swiping down from the top of your Kindle Fire screen.
2. Select the "More..." tab from the quick settings menu to access the "Settings"page.
3. From the "Settings" page, select the "Device" menu item.
4. Make sure the "Allow Installation of Applications From unknown sources" option is set to On.

Download the Scribd App

Installation

1. Open the web browser on your Kindle Fire.
2. Open your the browser's settings menu and navigate to the "Download" folder.
3. Select the "Scribd.apk" and tap the "Install" button at the bottom of the screen.
4. Once the Scribd app is installed, you will be able to find it under the "Apps" tab from your home screen.
5. Open the Scribd app and either create or log in to your existing Scribd account.

Subscribe to read unlimited books

Once you’ve created and logged in to your Scribd account, you can subscribe to our premium book service and start reading unlimited books.

Simply tap the "Subscribe now" banner and follow the instructions.
